PLASTISOL PRINTING

Plastisol printing is the common standard throughout the garment printing world. It is a form of printing that utilizes an ink mixture of PVC resin and a plastisizer. This ink gives the print a heavier hand-feel but is sturdy and reliable. Unlike a discharge or a waterbased print, plastisol inks do not dye the fabric, instead they form a bond with the fibers in the garment. This type of printing is recommended for use on almost all types of fabric.

DISCHARGE & WATERBASED PRINTING

Discharge printing is a type of printing that utilizes an ink mixture that removes the color in the garment and replaces it with a dye. This process allows the print to have an exceptionally soft hand-feel. While commonly used for more fashionable garments, discharge printing has started becoming a more popular choice throughout the print world. Printing on garments with a fabric blend of 80% or more cotton are the most ideal choice. If you are looking for a very sharp print with a soft finish, discharge is the print style for you.

Waterbased printing is similar to discharge in that it absorbs into the fibers of the garment. The ideal garment for this type of ink would be one that is a lighter color. The print leaves little to no hand-feel which is ideal for vintage style prints.

We also offer additional services such as embroidery, heat press transfers and plastisol transfers.
